Our People

Ty started out as a CNC saw operator at Woodpro. He has since worn many hats, including Quality Assurance Manager and Team Coach. Ty also completed the Advanced Manufacturing Specialist Training Program offered by Missouri Enterprise in 2008. All of these opportunities have formed a solid base for Ty in his current role as Production Manager.

Ty is married to Amy Porter, a Cabool native, who works at a local bank. They have one daughter, Ella. Ty enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

“I want to eliminate the Quality failres that reach our Customers, through Lean Manufacturing techniques and common sense. By doing this, we can also reduce the internal rejects that affect the cost of producing Woodpro Cabinetry.”
