Cabool is located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. There is natural beauty all around us here. Springtime brings new life and color to the woods. Most notable are our dogwood and redbud. The summer is a great time to swim in our crystal clear streams or fish or water ski on our nearby lakes. Fall is the time to visit our old mills and see our autumn colors. Our area is a favorite for turkey, deer and other hunters. Our winters can range from mild to below zero in temperature. We usually get enough snow to blanket our world in white a few times each year. In winter with our oak and hickory forests being bare you can see the rugged beauty of our Ozark hills. The rocky soil and beautiful limestone bluffs along our streams give a picture that helped draw me back home to the Ozarks region.
